Chance took his first steps today, three of them, towards a toy he wanted (his ride-on truck, he loves the horn). After three steps he had to sit down (hard) on his bum, but he didn't cry, he just shrieked, like he was saying "Hey! I think I did something!!"
Here is a shot of the two upper teeth that he got a few days ago. They are real sharpies!

Hi Danielle and Cameron, finally a response from me, Liesbeth, and Sander:
First of all, I am sorry too that we still did not have the time to meet over summer. It is not that I am overly busy, but I am just constantly doing something. Days fly by!
Danielle wrote the address of the baby weblog on her comment, so I checked out your site for the first time. What a great kid you two are having, taking his first steps, eating all by himself (hihi, what a mess!). And lots of great pictures on your site, I know that always takes some more time to put together. Danielle, I laughed at your grocery-doctor post. Even without a kid it always takes me lots more time to do grocery shopping than I anticipated before. And that chopping of your finger tip last week, scary! So I loved to read about the life of the three of you in your weblog.
I start working next tuesday, august 21. We will see how that works out without me having all the spare time. We might be a lot more efficient again, after all, we also managed both of us working when we were in the Netherlands. We will email you soon, we plan to have the three of you over for dinner at our place. I want to see that little guy of yours!
