The Pea

Have been calling the baby "the Pea" - as he is about as big as a green pea, according to books. Hard to beleive that he will grow so quickly from now on...

For some reason I think the Pea is a boy. Cameron thinks we will have a girl.

Positive Pregnancy Test

Did not tell Cameron that I was taking a test. After positive result, I took one look at Cameron and he asked immediately, "What? What did I do??" Perfect timing, I just laughed! I thought I better get this website started. I thought it would be a good way to keep everyone up to date, plus a good way to keep a record of how everything is going for myself. Have decided to tell our parents next week or two, that will put me at 7-8 wks. preg. Looking forward to their reactions. So far have been tired, taking short naps in early evening plus getting to bed early. So far no morning sickness, only a few days of nausea - very mild. I am 8 weeks behind my boss, who is pregnant with twins, and I understand she is barfing all the time, and has been since just after conception. So...counting myself very lucky at this point. There are a lot of pregnant ladies at work and last week we had a baby shower for one of them - I received a lot of flak from coworkers about being careful not to sit near all the expectant mothers, as pregnancy can spread! One coworker even said that from now on, I have to sleep in the guestroom, as the team cannot have any more pregnant women! Having just taken my first preg. test, I just grinned but on the inside I was bursting to tell already!
