Lime-baby

Had a doctor's appointment last week, everything is going well so far. Doctor was pleased with the amount of weight gain plus results from blood tests, etc. Next month we will get to hear the baby's heartbeat. Cameron wants to come, so that will be exciting!

The baby is now bigger than a LIME. 2.5 inches long, woohoo!

Baby Brain is setting in already, I think. I was panicking last week because a pregnancy book was delivered to my desk. I was so worried wondering who at work had me figured out, as I hadn't told my boss yet. Then I went home, opened my mail, read my VISA statement....and...well...there was the bill for the book. I laughed so hard that I cried!

Feeling Miserable

I know this is stupid, but I really thought that I'd get away with not barfing during this pregnancy! Oh well, now I know that I've got about 3 seconds to get to a bathroom or waste basket!

Cam is confused, because books, etc. say that morning sickness should be subsiding by now, but mine is just starting to run full swing.

Decided to take the day off from work today and get better from lingering cold. Plenty of sleep, plenty of fluids, etc. Can't wait until this cold is gone.

Gimme salt!

Salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt!! I just ate 5 black olives, a dill pickle, and a few potato chips and cheezies. And I want more. Mmmmmm!

I measured my waistline tonight - it is 31", which is up TWO inches from my usual...hmmm. Can it be possible that 3 pounds of extra weight is ALL at my waist??

Here comes the nausea!

Shopping - a cruel joke? Went shopping with friend Lynne today at one of our favorite stores - a consignment store, so prices are not too bad and you can usually pick up some nice stuff. Found a few pairs of pants that were super cute but with about 1cm give on the waist, wouldn't be a good buy, as I'd get to wear them for about 2 weeks before they split at the seams! Haha!

Have been combatting nausea with food. Saturday wasn't so good, but today was not bad at all.

Already Gaining Weight

Well, the Pea grew into a Cherry Pit. Tomorrow at 9 weeks, will be a Raspberry (0.5-1 inch head to butt). A Raspberry with ears, teeth (buds), arms and legs, even the beginnings of toes. And he's swimming in me...amazing because I can't feel anything.

Have put on weight - about 3 pounds. All my clothes still fit, but waist tighter than usual.

Telling Our Parents

Still haven't had any morning sickness other than nausea, thank goodness. At first started to worry a bit but some reading has shown that plenty of women don't throw up when they're expecting.

Cam's parents will be leaving tomorrow, it's been great having them here - big helps especially on some nights when I was just....so...tired!

Will telling Mom and Dad tomorrow night. I'm glad we didn't tell both sets of parents at the same time - might have been too much to handle.
